AYU Official (Indian Youtube Community): YouTuber Gauravzone arrested, mother booked too: Delhi YouTuber Gaurav Sharma recently shared a video where he and his mother made their pet dog fly using balloons. The duo has now been booked for animal cruelty and the YouTuber has been placed under arrest.
Sharma, who has a YouTube channel named Gauravzone recently made a video where he tied his pet dog to a number of balloons and let him loose. As a result, the dog flew up in the air. The video was shot at a park in Delhi.
In the video, the dog could be seen left suspended in the air for a few moments as the YouTuber and his mother cheered on. The video was uploaded on YouTube but was later taken off after complaints by animal rights organisations.
After the members of People for Animal (PFA) found out about the video, they raised an issue and lodged a complaint against Sharma at the Malviya Nagar police station. A case with charges of animal cruelty has been lodged against both Zone and his mother under Sections 188, 269 and 34 of the Animal Cruelty Act.
After pulling down the video, the YouTuber, who has over 4.15 million subscribers, released another video clarifying why he deleted it. He also said that he had taken all necessary precautions while shooting the clip. Gauravzone offered an apology to all those who were hurt by the video featuring his pet dog Dollar.
